Zero Waste and DIY M1-D1

Aims to educate and engage students (M1 to D1) on Zero Waste and Sustainable DIY principles through interactive, hands-on sessions. This program will encourage students to adopt sustainable practices, foster creativity, and develop skills to reduce waste in their daily lives.
Objectives:
To raise awareness about the environmental impact of waste.
To teach practical skills for upcycling and repurposing everyday items.
To inspire students to adopt sustainable habits through creative DIY projects.
To explore sustainable cooking practices, such as using leftovers and minimising food waste.
Activities:
Zero Waste: Introduction to the Zero Waste concept and its importance.
DIY Projects: Creating reusable items, such as cloth/paper bags, plantable pencil, paper pencil, and upcycled home decor.Sustainable Cooking: Simple cooking sessions focusing on reducing food waste, such as making soups, snacks, or desserts using leftovers or excess ingredients.Eco-Challenges: Weekly tasks to apply Zero Waste principles at home and share experiences.Reflection and Sharing: Discussing the impact of their projects and exploring ways to inspire others to adopt sustainable practices.

Aeromodelling M1-D1

Students will learn the fundamentals of aeroplanes, their history, and aircraft modelling, enhancing their understanding of aerodynamics and engineering. The sessions will include hands-on activities like building paper planes, chuck gliders, and water rockets, fostering creativity and problem-solving skills.
Additionally, they will be introduced to electronics and fuel-based RC planes, developing their technical and teamwork abilities.
This program aims to ignite curiosity about aviation while building essential STEM skills in a fun, practical manner.

International Dance (M1 - D2)

The participants will have an opportunity to learn an Irish jig or two, a Scottish dance, "The Dashing White Sergeant", a Panamanian national dance "La Denesa", a Serbian "Užičanka" national dance named after the city your favourite English teacher was born in, several choreographies of the dances from the Serbian royal court, Viennese waltz, and the basics of salsa and bachata. Let's have fun!
